Deep Blue Groove formed as a duo in June 2003, created by conga player Russ Frost and jazz guitarist
Adam Koltnow. Mixing Frost’s dynamic sounds from the Caribbean
and the rhythmic, funky sound of Koltnow created a vibe unique to
Deep Blue Groove. After several months of gigging they expanded
the range of the band adding Craig Fernandez on Sax. Currently,
they are gigging as a trio, playing a wide variety of events and venues.
